Event # 3 will be on Tuesday July 28th at 7pm at 303 Grand in Williamsburg
I am titling this event “Thor Synthesizer Workshop”
This workshop is designed to be an all inclusive guide to the ins and outs of synthesizer structures, signal flow, and sound design. I will be using Thor as the model but, will be teaching concepts that pertain to all synthesizer engines inside and outside of the Reason rack. I will be taking you on an in-depth tour of Thor’s oscillators, filters, signal flow, matrix patch bay, step sequencer, realtime controls and control voltage capabilities. I will also be exploring how Thor can be used to emulate classic synthesizers from days gone by, and incorporating some new “modernized” features that only the digital world can provide. In addition I will be revealing some insider programming tricks. My intention with this workshop is to leave all attendees with a firm understanding of synthesizer engines, structures, and to provide the necessary tools and concepts for editing, shaping, and designing sounds inside Thor.
The cost of this event will be $15 to help pay for the space. Once all of that is squared away, you will placed on the guest list and entered in the raffles, and given access to the drop box for questions/topics that you would like to have answered during the gathering
